Scultping

Well, currently I am waiting for the insurance to come through for the wrecked Sakura that I just finished. The post office totally, and utterly, destroyed her. :-( sakura In the meantime, I have had a sudden urge to scultp my own kit. Now, bearing in mind I have never done this before. But, it is strangly quite fun, even if at the moment the skeleton of my model looks VERY dodgy and lumpy. If she turns out like I want her to, I will enter her in the winter competion 2006 on the e2046 site. If not, well... Anywho, I have another commission just come in! I always get so happy when this happens. The sight of the wrecked sakura made me want to stop, but in the end, I knew that I just love this hobby too much to quit. I will just have to jump right back in. (I mean, I don't give up easily on other stuff, so I wont with this!) I will be starting on Urd the lovely Urd, and am quite excited about this one as I will get to do lots of shading and grading of colours, something I dont get much license to do sometimes. She has loads of pinholes all over her, like sakura, so I have specially ordered (finally!) some Mr Surfacer, as it took me too long last time to milliput and sand the pinholes away. Will post pictures soon.
