Painting skintone
Skintone is always the no.1 pet peeve with me. But
this time, I think I am happy with what Im doing! I
use the clear colour method for skintones (detailed
here -
http://forum.e2046.com/viewtopic.php?t=6776), , but
I slightly over did it on Sakura's face - argh, but
I need to mix up some more tone anyway, of the
highlighting variety, so that will deal with that.
I _was_ going to start on the white parts of her
today as well (the wings, and her costume), but my
airbrush isn't feeling too good after the tamiya
base coat I put in it (the stuff dries all
powdery-like), so I need to give it a good clean
out. Plus, since I live in a block of flats, and
it's 8pm now, I can't really do any more tonight or
the neighbours will get upset about the noise my
compressor makes (darn thing, why can't it be silent?)
Ah yes, I also got some super sculpey through the
post today (courtesy of ebay, heh), so when I'm done
with this kit, my friends present (on which I have
yet to start), and my (e2046) competition entry
(which is very nearly finished), oh and when I
finish university, then I can have a go atmaking my
own kit ^_^
